Thanks to the support of the South Ward Promise Neighborhood grant and the Randi Tepper Foundation, PfP’s Education & Innovation Department accomplished much this summer. The P4P Academy had its first class in two years. The Workforce Development Program graduates are now prepared to enter the workforce as assistant teachers with their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
The Greater Newark Shared Services Alliance (GNSSA) held virtual job fairs throughout the summer that brought child care providers and job seekers together to fill numerous current openings including, lead teachers, teacher’s assistants, and substitute teachers.
Stay tuned for the Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Professional Development Calendar! You will be able to view our offerings on our website, www.programsforparents.org. You can register for workshops (by September 10, 2022) by clicking here.
