Find out where your child stands developmentally at a free Books, Balls, and Blocks (BBB) event on Friday, October 14 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm (Military Park, Newark). BBB is a fun, family event providing developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years. Children will engage in fun games and activities while their parent or caregiver completes a developmental screening questionnaire. The purpose of the questionnaire is to educate parents and caregivers on their child’s developmental progress. All screening results are completely confidential. A trained professional will review the screening results with you and provide educational and resource information to support you on your child’s developmental journey. Registration is required: please contact the Family Engagement Specialist, Susana Melo, at 973-297-1114 ext. 4176 or email [email protected].
