Programs for Parents recently hosted its second Virtual Job Fair for early childhood educators. The Fair included on-the-spot interviews by Essex County Child Care Centers, which featured such open positions as full-time and part-time Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Pre-K Lead and Assistant Teacher. The Fair was made possible by PfP’s Greater Newark Shared Services Alliance, which was created to bring child care providers together to address common administrative issues collectively and free up time to focus on improving quality. The Virtual Job Fair did just that by bringing nine child care centers and job seekers together at one time to fill numerous current openings.
