Deadline for Nominations: July 30, 2022
Programs for Parents (PfP) announces the 2022 Leaders & Legends Award for Outstanding Achievement in Early Care and Education. The award will be presented to an outstanding individual in Essex County’s early care and education community on October 26, 2022 at Programs for Parents’ Biennial Gala.
PfP is calling for nominations of individuals who personify one or more of the following traits or have done so in previous positions (they can be retired):
- Influenced, advanced or contributed to the field of early care and education Has held a leadership position in the early care and childhood education community within Essex County
- Supported and strengthened efforts to expand and enhance child care and early education programs and services for families
- Promoted meaningful connections among individuals, agencies, organizations and government bodies on behalf of children and families.
The nomination must include a narrative that highlights the nominee’s accomplishments and explains why the nominee is deserving of the Award. There are two categories of nominations: “Leaders” and “Legends.” Please indicate in which category you are entering your nominee. You may also include a resume or bio. Consider other resources that can support their nomination such as newspaper or magazine articles, letters of support, research papers, and previous awards or honors.
